The Town of Beausejour, located 60 minutes east of Winnipeg, is inviting applications for the full-time position of Director of Operations.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Operations, as a senior manager within the Town, is responsible for strategic leadership and management of the Public Works and Utility Operations. The successful candidate will be a strong, energetic leader who can effectively meet or exceed the requirements of the position.

Major responsibilities of the position include managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Department of Operations in the areas of Roads; Water & Sewer;
Building & Property; Waste Management; Capital Project and Fleet Management. The ideal candidate will have a mix of education and experience appropriate to Public Works and Utility Operations. A Civil Engineering Designation (C.E.T.) with five (5) or more years of management experience within a Municipal environment would be an asset. Candidates with equivalent public or private sector management experience and appropriate academic qualifications are encouraged to apply.
